Caution – contagious!
Five years ago, a great idea was born of necessity. For fear of the music school in Guayaquil could be forced to close down (as a result of an acute shortage of teachers) we launched the yearly four-week work assignment – our so-called ‘project phase’. This initiative continues to this day.
[weiterlesen ...]Musiker ohne Grenzen (Musicians without Borders) first and foremost survives thanks to the people who know our association and appreciate and support our work on the ”Musica con vida” project in Ecuador and our association work here in Hamburg. This is why the most simple and most effective way to help is to: spread the word! Friends, relatives, acquaintances – the more people are aware of our work, the easier it will be for us to establish a good network of contacts and to financially secure our association, and thus the lessons in Ecuador and the possibilities to achieve our goals.
We are delighted about visits to our website, benefit concerts and other concerts, new memberships and even the smallest of donations to our association.

We are a charitable youth association committed to
1. Giving children and young people around the world the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and to be musically active.
2. Creating intercultural encounters, in which the universal language of music helps to form connections.
3. Developing a network between institutions, organisations and people who are active on a musical, educational or intercultural level.
Our work currently focuses on developing a music school in Guayaquil, Ecuador. We collect donations in the form of money and instruments. And we every year take a group of voluntary musicians to South America for four weeks to make music together and to give lessons – and thus to ensure the continuing education of the music students.
